Here is how you Program a Decoder with the MRC Command 2000

Programming a MRC Command 2000
[On the original Brettsterville Railroad

  • MRC DCC

    To program a locomotive:

    1. Place decoder equipped locomotive on the (program) track.
    2. Press buttons 9-4-4-4-5
    3. Adjust the programming slide controls
    a. Throttle 1 adjusts the "Start Voltage."
    b. Throttle 2 adjusts the "Acceleration Rate."
    c. Throttle 3 adjusts the "Deceleration Rate"
    4. Press button for appropriate throttle. You have completed the programming.
    5. Press button 9 (Reset)
    6. Press button 5 (Run).
    7. Move Throttle you programmed upward and the loco starts to move.

 


On the left is the Power Supply for the Command 2000.
The Command 2000 is on the right.

You can switch off the hand-held from here, and take control of it's trains.
